What we welcome

We are interested in careful explanation, useful comparisons and well-framed histories. The strongest ideas focus on one answerable question instead of trying to cover an entire venue at once.

A strong pitch

Tell us the working title, central question, likely structure and what readers will understand by the end. Mention the relevant examples and the material you expect to draw on. Keep claims proportionate: distinguish what you can establish from what you interpret, and avoid relying on unsupported generalisations.
